The Academy of Chiropractic is an organization dedicated to the success of the chiropractor and the chiropractic profession through partnering with doctors who aspire to be the "best-of-the-best." The Academy is striving to set a new standard within the chiropractic profession through formal post-doctoral continuing education, thereby increasing the knowledge base and credentials of the individual chiropractor and profession as a whole. The Academy works extensively with individual chiropractors in fostering interdisciplinary affiliations in both the medical and legal fields, in an ethical relationship, where the end result is both increased respect and utilization of the chiropractor and chiropractic. With the knowledge base and credentials, our doctors are being sought after by the medical and the legal communities to care for the sick and injured because through clinical excellence, the chiropractor now has the answers needed. The Academy has broken ground in post-doctoral education and has reached beyond the chiropractic profession in offering world class educators in the fields of advanced imaging, medical physics, diagnostics, triaging and trauma related care. We are also working with the brightest minds within the chiropractic profession to continue to offer the latest and best coursework to the profession. Our goal is to go beyond the technique genre of courses and expand the knowledge base of chiropractors worldwide without compromising our identity.

The Academy of Chiropractic offers practice success strategies to the chiropractor. Many doctors are initially attracted to the Academy for an immediate referral of new patients. However, through the Academy's programs and protocols, the end result will be in succeeding in building practices for the lifetime of the doctor's career. The Academy has a lengthy success record of teaching the chiropractor that referral of new patients, as with any discipline, comes through clinical excellence as a foundation and with strong business protocols. The same holds true when striving for referrals from the medical community or lawyers; everybody wants to work with only the best. The best encompasses the chiropractor who is both clinically excellent with patients and encompasses excellence and exquisite attention to detail in documentation.

Personal Injury Referrals and MD Referrals: In 2012, the Academy of Chiropractic has pooled the knowledge and experience of 1000's of doctors nationwide and over 50,000 lawyers nationwide to easily expedite the referral process from both the medical and legal professions to chiropractors. Using technology and the overwhelming positive chiropractic research that has been published we have creating technology and avenues to create the paradigm shift and get both lawyers and MD's to run after the chiropractor in the referral process. This has enabled doctors to bypass the managed care system that was designed to maximize insurance carriers profits and realize financial security allowing us to focus on what's important; patient care. 

The Academy of Chiropractic's Lawyers Personal Injury Program and the MD Referral Program support any and all techniques, philosophy's of practice and have realized that success in personal injury and MD referrals are not dependent on how you practice, only that you are the "best of the best" through clinical excellence.

Building a PI Practice

Referrals from lawyers, referrals from lawyers, referrals from lawyers...Advertising, newsletters, fancy steak dinners and ethically trying to buy goodwill with gifts is a failed paradigm when trying to get those referrals. After teaching 30,000+ personal injury lawyers nationwide for the better part of 3 decades, we conclude that lawyers only want one thing - to win their cases in an honest and ethical manner. This equates to the doctor being the instrument through which the lawyer can prevail in his/her cases and at the end of the day, will be the prevailing reason for the lawyer to refer any patents to the chiropractor, or any doctor, in the future. In order to prevail, you, the chiropractor, has to be the "best-of-the-best" through clinical excellence and has to understand admissibility. That is the focus of the Lawyers PI Program. We teach admissibility and help guide you through the educational process in becoming the "best-of-the-best" through clinical excellence. If you do not have these 2 components, forget any referrals from lawyers, as you will be a "one and done."

Post-Doctoral Division:

Continuing Education

The Academy of Chiropractic has created numerous post-doctoral continuing education courses . These courses cover topics such as MRI spine interpretation, x-ray interpretation in trauma, triaging trauma patients, interpreting EMG/NCV, SSEP, V-ENG, VEP and BAER’s, impairment rating, head trauma, brain injury, accident reconstruction and much more. The chiropractor must be better diagnosticians, competing with our medical counterparts in those arenas and not simply relying on their findings when they have no understanding of chiropractic and what we do. The Academy of Chiropractic's faculty includes clinically excellent and well-credentialed chiropractors, specialists in neurosurgery, neuroradiology, medial physics and accident reconstruction/engineering. Unless the individual chiropractor has the knowledge and credentials, through formal education, in the post-doctoral arena, the chiropractor and the chiropractic profession will always be subservient to medicine, precluding the chiropractic profession from attaining 95% of the population under care.
