"About the Program"
Putting chiropractic at the forefront of the diagnosis and management as referrals from healthcare providers is the next big step for our profession. Gaining access to and being recommended by family physicians and medical specialists is what will help take us from treating 5% of the population to caring for 95%. This shouldn't be so difficult since the satisfaction rate of chiropractic is so high; yet the old prejudices of medicine, combined with the previous lack of research has prevented the medical community in referring at a higher rate. This Program is focused on education at a business-to-business level, meaning the chiropractic office to the medical office. This is different from the business (chiropractic office) to consumer (patient population) model. It is also based upon your clinical excellence the leverage that we, as a profession have over the medical community.
The program is focused on getting your and your staff into medical offices on a regular basis by promoting chiropractic through cooperative spine care and evidenced based research. Being in front of primary care and medical specialists regularly has been proven to generate long-term trust and referrals of 3-4 new patients per week across the country. We have successfully worked with offices nationally who realize medical offices referring regularly without aggressive marketing techniques, spending vast sums of money on colorful brochures or newsletters, by simply discussing chiropractic and results backed by evidenced based research.
